Because you loved me...the title of this blog came from the famous song from Celine Dion. This song was written by Diane Warren, and it turns out that this song was written because of her relationship with her father. She had fell on hard times as a teenager, and it was literally her father's love that made her want to press on.
Isn't that something...
Isn't this how we can begin to feel about our Heavenly Father? I was reading Romans 5 this morning, and verse 8 says that God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. So, because he loved us he sent his Son to die for us, He gave us a chance at eternal life.
My question for you today is, what are you doing with that chance?
Are you sitting back in fear and waiting for opportunities to come to you? Or are you trying to the best of your ability to conquer the day and taking advantage of all opportunities that you come across? Christ died so that you live life, and live it abundantly (John 10:10). He doesn't want us to sit down on the time He has given us to dominate the world while we are here.
Because He loved you, that should encourage you to love yourself, love the gifts He has given you, and demonstrate that you are loved by sharing the gifts on the inside of you with the world!
A challenge for you: Do something today (in a personal, ministry, or business capacity) that demonstrates how much you are loved by Christ.
Happy Valentine's Day to all!
